Awareness Programmes for Conservation of Heritage at Coochbehar” through Drawing competition and “Quiz competition on History of Cooch Behar” on 5th August ’12 at Coochbehar Poly Technical College generated a lot of interest in the minds of participating students in particular and local intelligentsia in general &The Seminar on “CONSERVATION OF HERITAGE AND CULTURE” at Lansdown Hall, Coochbehar on 6th August 2012 where Sri Arun Bandyopadhyay, Hony. Secretary, JGEC Alumni Association declared their offer to provide technical support wherever necessary for conservation, restoration or preservation of Heritage site in and around Cooch Behar,)  -- and at our beloved college campus on 7th August, foundation day, where Jalpaiguri Govt. Engineering College Alumni Association has donated AMBULANCE for College staff & students as their welfare activity.
