# A 1997 batch alumnus has helped in the
recruitment process of a recent civil
engineering alumnus.
# A 2013 batch alumnus has been helping
out JGEC alumnus with placements since
the past 1 year and has agreed upon to
look into the placement of two more
ex-students from 2015 and 2014 ME batch.
# We have got 6 alumni from 2015 batch
referred to HP for software engineering
positions. Some of them have appeared in
the recruitment process. The results are
yet to be announced.
# A 1983 batch alumnus conducted
on-campus placements at JGEC and seven
students have been recruited through his
efforts.
# A 2011 batch alumnus has conducted

students.
# A 1989 batch alumnus has helped in the
recruitment of a 2014 batch alumnus;
this 2014 batch alumnus has in turn
helped in the recruitment of a 2015
batch alumnus. This is a great example
of the power of alumni unity.
# A reputed cementation company has
confirmed their visit to JGEC for
recruitment this semester
We would like to hear more from our
ex-students who are presently seeking
jobs. We will give our best efforts to
get them placed as soon as possible.

If you have any information about job
openings for freshers or for experienced
professionals then please share the
information with us so that our JGEC
family members can benefit from it.
Meeting at Campus:
On 21st of March 2016 , some of our
members visited the campus to attend the
annual reunion at JGEC campus and met
Principal and Training and Placement
officer. We had a very engaging meeting
in which Colleges authorities have
decided to support us in our
initiatives. They were very enthusiastic
upon hearing our proposals for the
betterment of the students and college.
Some of the key takeaways are :
# The Principal has agreed to provide
support and platform required for
organizing soft skill development of the
students.
# Needy and meritorious students shall
be provided with scholarship by JGEC
Alumni Association : A committee will be
formed consisting of college
authorities, student union members and
alumni association members.
# College will provide help and support
for achieving the goal of 100% placement
by 2020.
# Principal is already working on the
shortage of teaching and non-teaching
staff; he has requested JGEC Alumni
Association for any help which is
possible by the association.
# The Principal proposed the formation
of students' welfare committee
consisting of students, faculty and
alumni.
The alumni association has agreed on
this proposal.
